## Information the extension processes

When you open the extension on an Etsy listing edit page, it may read the following information from the current page:

- Listing title
- Listing description
- Listing tags
- Listing category
- Listing attributes
- Digital file names when visible on the page

This information is processed locally in the browser only so the extension can perform basic listing QA checks.

## Information stored on your device

The extension stores a minimal preferences record in `chrome.storage.local`:

- Preferred product type selection

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted externally by Version 1.

## Information not collected

The extension does not:

- Create user accounts
- Collect names, emails, payment details, or passwords
- Track browsing history beyond the active Etsy page you choose to analyze
- Send listing content to external APIs
- Scrape Etsy search results
- Crawl competitor listings
- Extract competitor tags

## Third-party services

Version 1 does not use external APIs, analytics services, advertising networks, or remote error logging services.

## Data retention

Because listing analysis runs locally and no listing data is uploaded, the extension does not retain analyzed listing content on a server.

## Your choices

You can:

- Remove the extension at any time through Chrome
- Clear locally stored preferences through Chrome extension storage controls
- Use manual paste mode instead of page detection if you prefer
